The challenge
Balancing renewable energy targets with biodiversity protection on a 3.5-hectare site supporting Cirl Bunting, a red-listed farmland bird.
Our solution
We undertook a PEA, protected species surveys, BNG calculations, and developed an Outline LEMP. Our approach integrated habitat creation and long-term management measures to secure measurable biodiversity uplift.
