The challenge
Restoration of a Grade II* listed farmhouse with multiple bat species present, including rare horseshoes and Barbastelle.
Our solution
We designed a stand-alone bat house with provision for day, night, and hibernation roosts, integrated crevice features, timed works to avoid sensitive periods, and a three-year monitoring plan.
Outcome
Licensed works are progressing well, and a dedicated bat house has been delivered to safeguard long-term species presence.
