The challenge
A demolition and rebuild of four new dwellings on a site with bat interest and nesting birds required pragmatic ecological oversight to maintain compliance.
Our solution
We undertook a Nocturnal Emergence Survey, secured a European Protected Species Licence, supervised soft-strip works, and temporarily paused demolition for nesting birds, advising the client throughout.
