Badger Trail Cam Monitoring

A little Thursday wildlife moment as we head towards the end of the week 🦡

We’ve been running badger trail cam monitoring at a site in Kent since the winter, and this canny badger gave us a reminder of why they’re such formidable characters. A plant pot had been carefully placed to discourage movement under a fence… but it didn’t cause much of a delay. With a quick shove, the obstacle was neatly moved out of the way and the badger carried straight on through (sadly the clip didn’t catch the whole moment!).

Rest assured, this well-used pathway was being shared by the whole clan again very quickly. It’s one of the things I love about badgers – determined, practical, and entirely unapologetic about getting where they need to go.
