Unexpected Highlights: From the New Forest to a Somerset Car Park
Jun 17, 2025
A bit of a mix this past few days!
I’ve been doing site work in Hampshire visiting a project being delivered by Eastleigh Borough Council. It’s a new Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) designed to relieve pressure on the New Forest and it’s looking brilliant. Due to open to the public in just a few weeks, and it’s been a real privilege to play a part in its delivery.
On the way back, I drove past Stonehenge (always a thrill, no matter how many times I see it!) and then—unexpected highlight—found myself genuinely excited about a car park. Yes, really.
Hats off to Teals Somerset in Somerset for the beautiful planting. It’s not often I feel the need to celebrate a car park, but this one got it just right.
🌿 Nature-friendly design, every step of the way.
