What a year it’s been!

As 2025 draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on everything we’ve achieved together at Burton Reid Associates. This has been a year of growth, transition and collaboration and one I’m incredibly proud of (if not a little exhausted).

• We’ve welcomed new clients and strengthened long-standing relationships built on trust and shared values.
• We’ve managed numerous complex bat mitigation sites, navigating challenging licences and ensuring the best outcomes for both people and wildlife.
• We’ve continued to support local authorities across the South West and North East, helping to embed ecological thinking into planning and delivery.
• We’ve moved offices, integrated new systems, and joined Ecology Group marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our team.

Through all the change, the Burton Reid team has shown extraordinary professionalism, creativity and care. Their passion for ecology and their commitment to our clients never wavers, I’m so grateful for each of them.

As we look ahead to 2026, our focus remains clear:

• To keep delivering meaningful, practical ecological solutions
• To deepen collaboration across the Ecology Group MKA Ecology Johns Associates Ltd Earth Active Ltd Living Earth
• To continue leading with integrity, curiosity and purpose
• And to develop some exciting new services… more to follow soon with our 2025 round-up in early January!
